A UNIQUE TERROIR

In Champagne, we operate 40 hectares of vineyards mainly on the Côte des Blancs, part of which is classified Grand Cru.

 

Our Grands Crus vines are located in Avize, Mesnil sur Oger and Oger. These most renowned terroirs of Champagne bring tension, minerality and incomparable length to our Chardonnay.

In our blends, we add a little of Vindey (Vinum Deus), wine of the Gods; terroir famous from the Middle Ages for its elegance, finesse, and lightness.
 

A bit of Montgueux will complete the power and the body, typical of the warmest Champagne terroirs.

Our blends are the fruit of combined expertise:
 

Between Marco Pelletier, chef sommelier (Vantre restaurant in Paris, best wine list by Bettane and Desseauve in 2017) whose talents of taster and connoisseur of the wine world are well established.

Antoine Gomérieux, young oenologist and head of Champagne cellars from father to son.

And mostly the feminine touch from the family Champagne figure Sophie Signolle-Gonet.

A skillful combination that allows us to present a Champagne Grand Cru combining finesse, freshness and delicacy.

MARCO PELLETIER 

Young Canadian, originally engineer, in love with France and its culture, quickly chose another path. His strong taste and his exceptional palate lead him to the sommellerie. He quickly crossed the ladder and his tasting capacities makes him one of the best sommeliers recognized by his peers. Chief sommelier successively at Taillevent then at the Bristol in Paris, his restaurant Vantre is elected in 2017 best wine list of Paris.

Winemaking questions him, he finds his way and starts with his own hands in this art of grape processing. Then from meeting to meeting, he creates Les vins de jardin at the Galouchey estate. 

Charles Henri offers him to take part in the annual meetings that constitute the assemblies in Champagne: in the middle of a hundred samples, surrounded by the best leaders of Champagne cellars, experiences are shared and a mutual recognition is created.
