History:
Resumed in 2000 by Gonet family, winemakers for 7 generations, Château Haut l’ Evêque now covers an area of 10 hectares in the communes of Pessac (black clay Graves) and Martillac (clay-limestone white Graves). The vineyards renovated in the Bordeaux tradition, because of its diversity of soil allows the preferred establishment local grape varieties and blends power of cabernet, merlot warm fruit, good mouthfeel and finesse of Petit Verdot.

In the desire to offer a silky, complex and balanced wine, Haut l’Evêque is the result of a careful winemaking, a woodland, pleasant, discreet and respectful farming of a grape led to full maturity, and which the expertise and the hand of the "Cellar Master" remain the guarantors of a vintage of great success.
Its aromatic complexity allows it to be eaten young or mature according to expectations.
